Chinese Language Classes

Chinese language classes are offered during the traditional school year. The children's classes take place at the Knoxville Chinese Christian Church every other Sunday, starting in August and ending in May. Children must be at least 3 and able to participate for the hour. The beginner class does a lot of songs and games. This is the 1:30 class with Connie. Other classes cover reading, writing, and conversation.

Connie's and Mong Ching's 1:30 and 2:30 classes will meet on these dates:

• From I-40 E or W take the West Hills Exit (exit 380) onto Kingston Pike.
• At the end of the ramp, the first traffic light, turn left onto Kingston Pike.
• Go to the next traffic light and turn left onto Buckingham.
• Follow Buckingham until it dead ends at the stop sign.
• Turn right and proceed on Vanosdale to the signal light at Middlebrook Pike.
• Go through the signal light. KCCC is on the left.

Cost

Tuition is $40 for the semester and must be paid prior to August 16. Additional costs for books when class starts (that's usually around $20 if you don't have books already). Children are encouraged to participate in the Chinese New Year Festivies as part of class performance.
